Paceville

Ah Paceville.... THE place to be!

Gozo

Gozo is a 14km long and 7km wide island; it is located 6km from Malta and can be accessed with a ferry for the low cost of 4.65€ for a two way ticket. This small island is more rural than Malta; the Gozitans are very proud people and there exists rivalry between them and Maltese inhabitants.
There are many features that deserve to be visited :

- the red sand bays, such as Ramla Bay or San Blas bay

                            - the picturesque village of Xlendi

- Azur window

Gozo also harbors the 7000 year old Ggantija temples, the Victoria Citadel and the Xewkija church.
The ideal thing is to spend one or two nights in Gozo so as to have the time to see everything that the island has to offer. One can rent a bed in the charming St. Joseph hostel for the affordable price of 8€, breakfast included.

Comino, Blue lagoon, Crystal lagoon.

Comino is the little island between Malta and Gozo. There is nothing on there except one hotel and one family living year round. The trip costs about 8 euros to and fro. Of course there are further offers like cruises (about 15€) or trips in canoe all around the island. You can not come to Malta without visiting Comino because there stands the most beautiful places.

Blue Lagoon:
White sandy beach and crystal clear water. It looks like paradise! the only bad thing about it are the people. A lot of tourists come here to see this amazing place; it's a better idea to go on weekdays.

Crystal lagoon:
There is no beach there, only a little dock but the turquoise water will totally bewitch you. All around this little bay you can jump from the cliffs to impress
the ladies and feel the adrenaline. You can also swim through caves.

The little tip:
Try to walk around the island; it takes about 3 hours and you can enjoy some hidden beaches neglected by the tourist fever, as well as some features such as the St. Mary Battery or St. Mary's tower.
