Bar francais

And yes as you can see on the title there is a french bar !!! They opened this year, the boss is belgium and it's a really nice bar (really cheap). If you need something they are always there and it's nice to know that there is french people not far away.
The bar is in Paceville when you are in front of the Plush you will see a street with all the taxis and in this street you will find it.
It could be reassuring to know that if you're scared to be alone at the beginning.

Food in Malta

The food in Malta will not be the best you'll ever see but it's really cheap. You can eat for 30 euros per week if you're not too difficult. PASTIZZERIA remember this name, you can ind it everywhere and it's the cheapest place to eat. You have like burger pie (a pie with a big steak inside) for only 0.80€ and a lot of different food for the same price. So you are able to eat for 2 or 3€, not too bad ?






For restaurants it's more expensive for nothing realy amazing... They mainly cook frozen food so you pay too much for this kind of meal. But if our cooking is missing you you can go to one restaurant in Balluta Bay in front of the Meridian (Hotel). You will find a restaurant where you can order dishes of delicatessen and cheese which are really good if you feel a little bit lonely of our AWESOME SAVOYARD's cook !

The medieval festival

This festival append once a year, the first week-end of May. It takes place in Mdina. The festival is a very good reason to visit Mdina.

You can find in the street local groups, Medieval Music, Sbandieratori , Illusionist, Jester, Falconry and birds of prey, Lectures, Concerts, food & drinks, Medieval Market, Medieval Kitchen.

Battles, skirmishes, re-enactments of scenes from the Medieval Period, like the Town Crier, a Slave Market, a re-enactment of a Medieval Kitchen, Sword Fighting, Archery, Medieval Tavern, Magic Shows, Live Music, Birds of Prey flights, Parades, Flag Throwing shows will be perform by the participant.

Tourist attraction have reduces prices during the festival.

Les transports à Malte

Les transports maltais... Comment enjoliver la chose ?

Au vu de leur aspect neuf ne vous y trompez pas ces bus sont une calamité au niveau des horaires ! Le fait est qu'ils ne doivent pas avoir la même notion du temps que tout bon passager qui se respecte. Alors si vous voulez être a l'heure au travail prenez une petite demi-heure d'avance au cas ou votre bus soit passé 10 min en avance ou 10 min en retard !!

Ceci étant dit ne prenez pas peur, le chauffeurs restent toujours sympa et surtout par dessus tout la jounée de bus ne coûte que... 1.50€
Les tickets peuvent être achetés dans les bus pour la journée ou la semaine. Mais si vous allez au Terminus de la Valette au guichet d'informations vous pourrez trouver des tarifs réduits pour les abonnements mensuels. Par exemple 60€ pour 3 mois !!! Mais n'oubliez pas de dire que vous etes un bon vieux touriste en stage a Malte sans sa pas de réduction !


Les bus de nuits... Une légende urbaine, un mythe parmis tant d'autres non résolus au cours des siècles.
Oui vous avez bien lu ce sont des fantômes ils ne passent jamais dans le bon sens. Vous n'en avez pas besoin donc 4 vont passez devant vous. Vous cherchez a rentrer de votre soirée tranquillement, vous arrivez en avance et 30 min plus tard toujours pas de bus...........
Bref ne soyons pas pessimiste ils ne coutent que 2.5€... quand vous pouvez les prendre !!!

Au pire vous voulez rentrer de soirée avant 6h du matin pourquoi pas un taxi c'est pas trop cher et surtout RAPIDE !! Sa vous changera la vie comparé au bus !!
Un conseil négocier les prix sans ça vous allez vous faire avoir !
